Having met Promethean partner, Envision, at a Rural and Teaching Principals’ conference in Paihia, Northland, Dianne was able to learn more about the full range of Promethean interactive teaching solutions. “Having an extended one on one session with Envision staff was extremely valuable in introducing me to the full range of capabilities of the Promethean system,” she explains. “We had already decided that we wanted to use a system which was pen operated rather than touch sensitive. A pen is much more directed and helps students to develop their coordination. With the touch sensitive systems, fingers all over the place and can play havoc with the software programme.”
