Leed Overview

LEED is the common rating system that determines "Green" building practices.  LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environment Design.  It was designed by the US Green Building Council, and is now considered the industry standard on "Green" building.

Why is LEED Certification important?

ARRA Title XIV specifies that schools should make every effort to utilize these funds for "modernization, renovation, or repair of public school facilities consistent with a recognized green building rating system."
